I agree! This is annoying. Some apps automatically get rid of it, but others don't. I wish there was a setting to get rid of the bar regardless of what the app does. So far, I have found nothing.

2 things I have noticed so far on 4.3 is that my bluetooth speaker works way better than it used to and xbmc will no longer play HD video without stuttering.

I just got the 4.3 update pushed to my ME302C here in Canada. Android is upgraded to 4.3 and the firmware was upgraded to 5.0.11. This is for the US version only and not the world wide version. Has anyone noticed any changes?

I primarily use VLC to play videos and all seems to play smooth. What video player are you using?

@ Neil - That's very strange. I've had absolutely zero issues playing videos. Perhaps it's how your connected? Are you streaming? Playing video right from the tablet? Lots of external factors could be interfering with video watching that are unrelated to the tablet itself.
