Go to data usage, menu, hotspots, make sure that your trusted networks are not marked as a hotspot. You may have to then reboot. This fixed my G+ backup problem and I am hoping that it addresses a few other issues I have noticed.

Have you rebooted since you changed your mobile hotspot settings? That was what I needed to do.

Are you set to backup over wifi only? If you are go onto your data usage settings and look for the hotspot menu. Make sure that your trusted wifi networks (i.e. Home and work) are not marked as hotspots.

A few points: 1) When you try to send via SMS, do you get an error? I get a "network error". I am using Handcent as my default sms app. 2) I get the same result trying to use mail, so its not you. 3) In order to copy a contact's information, you have have to enter 'edit contact'. Kinda...

You need to delete all of your security certificates. Settings >security>clear credentials. Next time you use Foxfi, it will reinstall the needed certificate. I delete when I think I won't use Foxfi for a while. Posted via Android Central App

If I recall correctly, the reset only took a matter of minutes. Its the setup of the phone that takes so much time.

I ran an FDR Thursday night without wiping the internal memory. All Friday morning my performance was terrible, I mean really terrible. I was considering rerunning the FDR with the internal wipe. Fortunately, Sam talked me into waiting. (Thanks Sam). Not sure if it just needed settling in...
