I know PRECISELY THE AGGRAVATION he is talking about. The touch screen seems ro respond differently than my prior S6. No.doubt about it. I hate typing on my S8 phone too. It's been driving me totally crazy having to correct and retype etc. Ugh. I will tey swiftkey and hope that helps. Joe
