The white piece of paper opposite the charging pins is very clean white. But, Amazon is refunding my purchase.

I purchased a new OEM Samsung battery for my Samsung Galaxy S3 after experiencing some problems with the phone, with the old one. When it arrived, I turned off the phone & replaced the battery with the new one. I left the phone turned off, charging for over 8 hours - indicator light was green...
