Update--plugging it directly into the computer charges it at a decent pace, but that's impractical in the long run. At least I can have it on my trip!

I ran into that problem when it got lollipop. So far the laptop USB charges it reliably. My newest wall charger does not--haven't tried any others.

I'll be watching this thread for the answer--some other forum said 2 amp, but I don't remember which one said that. OTOH with the new software I'm finding it charges much better directly from my laptop than any of my wall chargers. That's not practical in the long run though! If anyone knows...

Same problem but in spades. Using the wire charger it charges slowly, but something is clearly eating power since it went from 45% to 19% in a single hour just running New York Times. Plugged it into a charger with an indicator light and it flashes, so sometimes it's receiving charge and...
