The app I used was "Volume Control" by Netroken.

I ended up having to download a separate app that would let me set volumes for notifications and ringtones separately.

I picked up the R1 HD last year for about $50 and it has been a good phone for the past year. I just recently started having Bluetooth issues with it so I replaced it with the Vivo 5R this week.
