Using mine as a beside clock, AOD is on all night. Battery drain 7 or 8% for a typical 8 hour night.

LG G7 with T-Mobile WiFi calling?

Well, not so much... The very first consideration when choosing a carrier is which one has solid signal where you need signal. But that's the point of WiFi Calling. With it, I have a solid signal where I need it, seamlessly and reliably! And if you read my post, you'll see that it was working...

LG G7 with T-Mobile WiFi calling?

I have an unlocked G7 (LMG710ULM), which I have used on very successfully on Mint Mobile (T-Mobile network) for 4 months, including WiFi calling. Until Pie.:'( After the G7 upgraded to Android 9 (Pie), I found that WiFi calling is unreliable. Specifically, when I go out of WiFi coverage, then...

Android Wear 2.0 on the ZenWatch 2

Started using my ZW2 again last month, after letting it collect dust for about a year. The latest Wear OS, paired with a newer phone, makes this an amazing device! For the first time, I'm really enjoying using the watch. The interface is much more reliable and logical than when I first bought...

Lg G7 ThinQ and Straight Talk

Btw, I've been using cricket (which is an at&t mvno), and it has been a good value. But I'm in the process of switching to Consumer Cellular (also uses at&t, as well as TMobile). CC will cost about the same, but give me full speed cellular data, as well as hotspot capability.

Lg G7 ThinQ and Straight Talk

I'm VERY happy with my G7. I'm coming from a G6, which has served me very well, and turned me into a strong LG phone fan. Didn't really need to replace the G6, but couldn't pass up the sale price on the G7 at B&H. My wife got a nice hand-me-down, although she's oblivious, as long as it works...

Lg G7 ThinQ and Straight Talk

I believe Straight Talk comes in different "flavors" (carriers). I'm pretty sure the bands you listed for Straight Talk (2,4,5,12,17) are for the AT&T flavor. I'm any case, I have the same G7 model you bought, and pretty certain it will work on any US carrier network.

    New G7 user

Take a look at least Pulse SMS. very clean, responsive and reliable texting app. Plus, an active develope and great reviews.

    Diminishing battery life

If you didn't like the battery life on the 6p as well as the G6, it sounds like you've been running a troublesome app that has affected both. Unlikely it's a warranty issue.

    G5 RS988 on T-mobile

Interesting that your RS988 G5 does not use band 12 on Tmo. Did you ever notice that it wouldn't use band 17 on Cricket? I've compared our G6 and G5, both on Cricket, same place and time, and the G6 will often select 17, while the G5 never does. But the specs show that it is capable of using...

    Oreo for LGUS997 (unlocked)

If you mean the 8.0 Oreo upgrade, my G6 US997 got it a couple of months ago. I'm using Cricket, but as you said, it's unlocked, so the upgrade was OTA from LG.

MediaPad M3 - What are your biggest gripes?

I've been generally very pleased with my Mediapad m3. Good build quality, design, features, responsiveness and battery life. I am a little disappointed that it appears it will never get an Oreo upgrade, but not a huge problem. HOWEVER, I've always been confused at the way widgets work (or...

MediaPad M3 - What are your biggest gripes?

So the solution is to connect to WiFi on the 5Ghz band, hence no interference with 2.4Ghz Bluetooth! Oh wait...the m3 mediapad can't use 5Ghz WiFi on the USA model [emoji26]

    New update

Wow, that's pretty shoddy design logic. So Huawei believes the fingerprint reader is secure, but not really? And the solution is typing a PIN every 3rd day? That's disappointing.
