    I brought a similar unit from Maplins and one from Vtech via Amazon and had the same problem, I dont think it is the tv as I have tried connecting it to 2 HDMI ready TVs and a HDMI Laptop.     Why Does my Slimport not work on nexus 7

    I have tried to get my nexus 7 to display on a hdmi tv and tried several connectors including two different slimports and nothing seems to work. Is there a setting I need to change on my nexus 7 to make it work with a slimport?
