Worked. Just charged my S7 and the lock screen did not come on when fully charged. I am new to this "Forum" concept. I realize that I made a rookie mistake in posting without sufficient information. Would think that this answer should somehow be moved to the S7 Forum.

First of all sorry for not saying Samsung s7. I have gone to the article mentioned and made the adjustment recommended in the site. My thanks for your suggestion. Will try it tonight. Not sure why Verizon had no clue.
