How would you update via Kies?

I have a Samsung Galaxy S tab that had Verizon on it until I paid it off and switched carriers...now I use that tablet on wifi only so it has no current active SIM. I know updates are pushed by the carriers...since I have no active service on thia, does it mean I won't get the update?

Audio is terribly out of sync when using Bluetooth on this device. I have a Bose Sound Link Mini and it works fine on everything else. Netflix, Google Play, anything with audio including keyboard clicks is way out of sync when using Bluetooth on my LG G Pad. I bought this mainly for videos so I...
