I used it also, but I found that the S Pen nib didn't glide over it very easily. And since it doesn't go from edge to edge the S Pen nib catches on the edge of the plastic film on both sides when moving an icon for example. But it is still more protection than nothing.

If you use the Always On Screen option they when you get a notification you get the sound/vibration per your setup and a small icon to indicate what program sent the notification. Otherwise the screen doesn't change.

No you don't have to swipe twice. You swipe once with 2 fingers to get the whole settings drop down menu. You swipe once with one finger to get only the top portion of the settings drop down menu.
