Salvageable or Time for an Upgrade?

Haha, well put! :'( Guess I was in denial, was hoping there was an easy fix. Do phones usually ever go on sale, such as when the next new model releases?

Get a Playstation VR, or upgrade computer?

No, I've never tried it. I remember at the time of its release, there weren't any apps that I was interested in using it for. Sounds like you have tried it though, what have you used it for? :)

    Oculus vs. Vive vs. PSVR

Thank you for your insight! I haven't been able to figure out which headset to buy myself. It's a matter of "Do I want to go with the cheapest option (PS VR)" or, "If I'm already forking over x amount of money, for a little bit more, should I get a more superior headset (Vive)". Which of the...

Salvageable or Time for an Upgrade?

So I've had the S5 for years now (got it a few months after it released) and I've been constantly having more and more problems with it. I can't figure out if it's a battery issue or a device issue, and whether it's even worth trying to save it or just get a new phone. Now, I'd say I've taken...

    Anyone using the Merge Cube?

Huh, this is honestly the first time I've heard of it, and it's surprising that it's so cheap at Walmart (guess I assumed any VR/AR accessories would be pricey). I'll have to see about picking up a pair next time I'm out shopping, seems like it would be more fun to learn anatomy with it rather...

What's the First Game You'd Buy?

That's great to hear that it's a fun game! Having played Until Dawn, I was a little impatient in waiting to see what The Inpatient was all about (prequel), so I ended up watching a Let's Play of it on Youtube. It starts off strong but seems to have a weaker ending. Definitely wait for a sale on...

    Wow

Ah, that would definitely make a lot more sense (hopefully).

What's the First Game You'd Buy?

Assuming lots of people here are because of the giveaway. Hypothetically speaking, if you were to be lucky enough to win it, what's the first VR game you're buying to play/test out the headset? Let's ignore the Skyrim game that comes with the bundle. :p Batman: Arkham VR would be a strong...

Ok, what has been the TRUE defining moment...

Wish I could say I had the chance to experience it, none of my friends are into gaming so no one I know owns one. However, when I saw something like VR Chat, I was excited to see how that technology would progress further. We can already see friends/families that live far through applications...

    Wow

Threw what away, a VR headset? Why?

    Difference between VR & AR

Virtual Reality replaces your surroundings with a computer-generated simulation. So think of your average VR video game. Augmented Reality retains real life, but adds a virtual component to it. So think of Pokemon Go or HoloLens.

Which has a better chance to catch on, VR or AR?

I feel like AR will have a better chance to catch on. While both have their uses outside of entertainment (such as educational, training, medicinal, etc.), my first instinct in terms of VR is that it's a gaming headset. Not everyone is into video games (at least, it probably holds true for the...

What are your favorite PlayStation VR games?

While I wouldn't say it's "fun", I do think Resident Evil 7 is great to experience in VR for the atmosphere. As for fun, while I haven't had a chance to try it, from videos I've seen, Sprint Vector looks like it'd be a blast to play.
