To get into dl mode you need to run ODIN on your computer. Take the back off the phone and remove battery. Use the cable that came with the phone to plug it up. Then just hold volume down and it will go to dl mode. The box up towards the top will turn yellow in ODIN showing you are hooked up.

Ive read several posts about flashing the 1.9 then using CWR to flash 2.0. I was just going to skip the step of flashing 1.9 with ODIN and flash 2.0 over EE4. It doesn't seem that I will have a problem.

Has anyone flashed this over EE4 without doing the ODIN of 1.9 then the radio? I am in an area that i never lose 4G and was just going to flash over EE4 via CWR. Any issues doing so? I have 2.0 dl'd and ready to flash. Just wanted another opinion.

So coming from stock rooted ee4 this is just a flash away via CWM? I have been looking at gummy since first post and looks great. If I have understood correctly no kernal so a voodoo kernal is compatible if wanted.

Can anyone confirm that the this will root the OTA EE4. I am seeing a lot of conflicting information.

From everything I have read switching to CDMA only if you are not in a 4G area will keep the phone from constantly searching for the signal making the battery last longer. I don't think it is going to drain the battery that much faster, but there may be a small difference.

I have both the charge and the TB, and there are things of each that I like. The TB is fast and has a great solid construction feel, but the battery is worse than most. With that said the Charge has a much better screen and the battery life is pretty good for a smart phone. I am not crazy...

Where can I find the app? I remember it was pulled from the market, and I thought I had it stored somewhere else but I can't find it. I remebered there were other options to DL it but I just can't recall them at the moment.

I had the same problem and I installed the drivers from one of the Rom\ Hacks for the Charge. I am also using Win7 and couldn't find the drivers. I didn't even see them on the Samsung site. So thank God the community of AC is the best. You can always find what you need or someone to help...
