What's the "killer app" here?

I've been playing with the settings and I've customized my most used apps, but I'm trying to figure out a way to set it for incoming calls. Is this possible? It doesn't give me the "phone" app as an option to set edge lighting for.

Outside of the first week of getting my Note I have not used Live Messages at all. Has anyone continued using it in any interesting ways or found any practical use for it aside from the initial gimmick?

Toggle on "Media Volume Limiter" to turn off the annoying prompt!! Simply go into Settings, Sound and Vibration, Volume, 3 dots on top right corner.

Is this a feature that the Note 8 didn't get? I thought I saw something in a video for the S9, but I can't seem to find the option in my Note. What determines the brightness? Is it automatic based on ambient light? I noticed some times it is brighter than others.

There used to be more options. The one that I particularly miss is the highlighter. I would use it all the time while checking invoices at work. Why would they remove this?

I would like to be able to launch my calculator without having to fully unlock my phone with all my security measures. From my lockscreen it appears that only the phone app is able to bypass my security password. Is there a setting that I can toggle for this?
