That makes a lot of sense. Everyone's circumstances are different. I'm very happy with it as my second device to an S22 Ultra. Now if Verizon would just be helpful in using both. Simply trading out the SIM card between them doesn't work for me.

Plus you had to use an upgrade to get that deal. If you have a lot of lines that doesn't matter so much though. Also you can pay it off of course. Verizon for example does it with bill credits so thet get you that way if you pay off early.

My argument is that I'm paying for the line of service and if I want to use another compatible device then that should be allowed. Even if I have to call them every time I do it. It may still work out but it truly surprised me. Sent from my SM-S908U using AC Forums mobile app

I have done it in the past with no issues. But this time when I put the SIM card into the Pixel 6a it recognizes that it is there but it won't give me any service.

Verizon is acting like I can't even switch the SIM card between a Verizon Samsung S22 Ultra and an unlocked Pixel 6a because it "hurts" the SIM card. I've never had issues switching between phones with moving the SIM card before. Does anyone have any helpful feedback?

I bought a used 3a for $89 and will get $300 to trade it in for the 6a plus 0% interest for two years and then after that hopefully it will have good trade in value for another Pixel. It's my first Pixel so I'm looking forward to it. I got the S22 ultra in July for basically nothing after bill...

Yeah, wait on the Black Friday/Cyber Monday deals, especially if you're on Verizon although they treat their current customers like trash for promos (yes I realize they're willing to do more to get someone to switch).

My Edge+ had the issue. The replacement from Motorola has had no issues, but I completely understand how frustrated people are. Motorola should really extend the warranty to two years. It wouldn't matter to me so I have device protection through Verizon.
