If your update went through then your good. Your root process did not affect the original OTA settings to AT&T's server. At this time I'm still gathering info on what the update pertained to but I think the update is related to some pre-requisite perhaps needed to update to Kit Kat anyday soon...

Re: S3 won't connect via USB to my computer This works after hours of searching online and trying different techniques but after removing the battery, powering back and then connecting the usb cable I get the same error msg " usb device not recongnized" :(
