People are saying its adjustable autobrightness, meaning once you set it to autoadjustbrightness you have to set the benchmark you want it to keep. This was how my g2 was, set what brightness you want and it keeps it there based on surrounding environment.

didn't notice this until i changed my wallpaper to a pic of my daughter, then it was really obvious, on the default wallpaper its not at all noticeable, but now I see it, changed it back to default since its so small of an effect but they need to give the option to turn this off, stupid feature...

I don't know, I got this update Wed morning and my cell standby is still crazy high, currently 31% so this didn't help me. I'm on verizon s6. Wondering if worth doing a full reset but can't imagine that will do anything if a software update didn't.

Do you still get the lock screen when turning the screen on? It kills me that just because I have security on my phone I have to get that stupid swipe screen to get into my phone even though I have it set to only activate the pattern lock after 5 minutes. Hope they fix this bug in the next update.
