I had to get a replacement device (white/bamboo 32G)...originally it estimated Nov. 13th. Got an update this morning and it'll be here next Tuesday with 1 day shipping so they're definitely getting more in soon.

With the battery life I've been getting I shouldn't have an issue hitting 6hrs SOT...if I ever needed to have my screen on that much.

On most phones there's usually a work around to accomplish this. Since you submit your IMEI to Motorola to get the unlock code, they know...whether you relock or not. Will they put up much fuss? I'm not familiar enough with them to say.

It definitely is. I think I lost 2% overnight last night.

Re: X pure: bamboo vs the new default silicone backs, which one is better and more durable? Agreed on the bamboo being slick. I'm using the bumper too. Xtremeguard has a 90% off sale right now so I got a couple of their clear back skins...that should add enough grip for me.

I'm pretty sure bad cell signal can cause battery drain as well...wouldn't your phone be searching for a better connection? My graphs correlate that way...great reception, phones asleep...poor reception, phone stays awake.

Re: OS updates only for one year. From my chats with Moto support about a few different things I'm pretty sure they don't know much about anything. I'd take that with a huge grain of salt.

Re: Bootloader and Warranty There's not much you can do right now with an unlocked bootloader as far as i know so you might as well wait it out. At least until we have TWRP ported and you can actually root. Maybe by then Moto will pass along a definite answer.

Bootloader and Warranty Just so everyone is aware, as of now, unlocking the bootloader DOES void your warranty. I've filed an incorrect warranty status claim, but just wanted to give a heads up to those on the fence. I got the phone because I knew it'd be unlockable so it's not a major issue...

According to the "My Stuff" page when you're logged in to Motorola, unlocking the bootloader may very well void the warranty. I didn't check it prior to unlocking it, but it definitely says out of warranty now.
