For what its worth, tried my second LG G2 this morning for the same result. Tried it out pre-update (no service) and then tried post-update (still no service). I can't recommend this phone based on my experience. I subbed it out for a Moto X, and so far so good. About double the signal...

Appreciate the tip - did that yesterday. Even went so far as doing factory reset with the new SIM. Same result.

I've had huge problems with my G2, which is a bummer because I really like the rest of the phone. I CONSTANTLY go from 2-3 bars 4G, to 3G to 1 bar 1X to no service what so ever. I don't drop calls once I can get them to go through, but a lot of the time it wont let me send texts or make calls...
