Man, they missed an opportunity there. I've gotten two units, due to one RMA, both sealed but not there either :-)

:-) I know, I felt the same way (HAS to be on the box....) I'm guessing Google thought the same and that it's more of an oversight than intentional. Did anyone look under the back removable part that holds the screen protector? Just thought of that...

It's not on the box, at least from Play.

That also what I did, but certainly this should not have to be done - even my TV can show me it's MAC! (When needed.)

Yup, I was surprised at that as well - they need a "display MAC address" button during that set up!

Just for the record - I RMA'd that unit, and my replacement does not have the issue.

Google should make some line of devices that always gets the most recent updates, if you ask me...

Well, of course I have that also. Its just on the second layer, it would have to break past the huge layers of bubble wrap and past the unicorn's breath to hit the pillows that cover the carpet. :D

Another user on XDA forums had this also. Consensus was that its a slight manufacturing defect, but did not adversely affect performance in any way.

Part of what I'm curious about is the notion that the two apps could be presenting themselves differently to your Exchange. This is not a 100% accurate example, but just for discussion sake - one app may appear like an Outlook client, whereas the other may be appearing as a generic ActiveSync...
