How much would you guys say the motherboard will cost when the G5 comes out? And would it be possible to buy it separately without paying for the whole phone?

Please do post when you get the chance, purchased some thermal paste and hope to resolve this. Also, a note to everyone, the issue tends to go away and reoccur randomly. Thus whatever "solution" you have, you should probably give a week or so to truly test it's effectiveness.

I'm running CandySix ROM which is non-stock Marshmallow and still having the same issues, getting worse if anything. The paper trick doesn't seem to work as well anymore and I cut a a piece of a gift card and put it on the bottom of the battery, also doesn't seem to help. Incredibly frustrating...

I followed these instructions and after a few hours I haven't seen any problems. The top of the screen flickers a little but it never fades to black and it's not very noticeable, definitely an upgrade. I'll keep updated.

Interesting that you mention the SIM card because a few weeks ago I started to have problems with the SIM, where it would randomly say the card was disconnected and ask me to restart my phone before I could use the network. I took the SIM out and am still having problems, but if what everyone's...

Just started having this problem, don't know what to do next. I'm skeptical to send it in and pay a repair fee if they're not even going to fix the problem.
