    Wow...not good. I'm a trucker, and there seems to be a rash of pretty bad accidents lately.

    I drive around 2500+ miles a week, and most metro areas are somewhere between bad to worse, but LA is a special kind of crazy. Good thing I can usually drive and Zen at the same time.

    I slid through Colorado on my way to Wyoming, saw a little blowing snow out by Limon, then didn't see any more till west of Cheyenne. It hit eighty today in Oregon along the Columbia river.

    The flank steak in the bags marinated for a day, and then became really awesome last night. Also, making your own pickled onions is super easy.

    I thought the Panthers would do better, but it was a close game up to the fourth quarter. Denver's defense made the difference. They were in Newton's face the whole game. Either way, it was a good tight game down to the wire.

    I made it home! My sweetie tonight, daughter and grandson and son tomorrow (he's cooking), and cousins from overseas on Sunday! Have a wonderful time, enjoy your holidays, and may your New Year be blessed.
