Been getting the error for a couple of days. While it is annoying, all you do is press the notification to bring up the box, then press the Back key and it goes away, at least for a while. Everything works, so this message is actually meaningless. Eventually, Google will wake up and fix this...

I tried that, and after a little time, the error came right back. I'm sure it has something to do with Google's recent app updates, but the fix is not as simple as that.
