WiFi doesn't just receive, it has to transmit. The entire point of aircraft mode is to turn off all broadcasting. You're mistaken to think it worked before.

Samsung S7. Before the last update I could tap on my own contact and then show people my address. This was a real time saver compared to explaining how things are spelled. I just tried this in a shop... Where is my address? I can't find the address for any of my contacts, including my own? WTF?

Re: The first note I won't buy? to me that's not the issue, the issue is that after awhile batteries don't hold a decent charge, making the phone useless BECAUSE YOU CANNOT CHANGE THE BATTERY!

As I just mentioned elsewhere, can you imagine if Microsoft decided the right-click on the mouse should no longer be a context-sensitive menu, but a list of recently opened software? Because if you're used to the menu key, thats exactly what it's like to find it replaced with "recents".

Me, but I'm more interested in the Note 4, as you can change the battery and add an SD card....

Re: computer is not recognizing my galaxy note 2 but it charges Possibly due to the difference between USB port versions. Try using a different cable and/or a different computer port? I had the same trouble with a cable running from the back of my PC but using a USB port on the front worked...

My reply vanished? I'll try again... That kills the entire page or screen, not just the app. Happily it seems you can create new screens, though the home screen is no longer in the middle. Cheers

Re: There is no such icon/symbol on my Wattsapp installation. I have the search and contacts software buttons but not those 3 dots. Does the app recognize if the phone has a proper menu button, and only display those dots if the phone doesn't? I haven't inserted my SIM card or logged into any...

My note 2 is also stupidly slow now. I was hoping it would get better but if anything it's getting worse. I don't think I'll ever buy another Samsung in my life. I HATE this phone now. Hate it.
