I have this issue and it is very frustrating!! It is my only problem with this phone! When you first plug them in the icon will appear in the notification bar but then disappear a couple seconds later.

None of those issues here. Define light usage? Battery life has been awesome for me. My average day consists if around 2 hours screen on time and 1 hour of spotify streaming and 30 mins or so of talk time. Easily make it thru the day with 30-40% left in the tank. My cell quality has been the...
