Like the op I bought one. Had nothing but problems. Exchanged it for another unit and had the same issues. It then promptly went in the trash can.

Wish I could offer you help but I've been running LS since May with zero issues. The one bit of personal advise would be to ditch Links2SD as it has caused issues on all the devices I have installed it on. I now use foldermount faithfully and absolutely love it. Good luck :)

I'm currently stuck on a ZTE Valet which is totally useless so I REALLY need a new phone.

One thing you can try is foldermount. You can d/l it for free and move 3 apps. If it works you can buy the full version which allows unlimited moves. I never could get link2sd working properly and the developer never answered any of my emails.

If your rooted you can use Foldermount to move apps to sd. I have over 30 GB of apps on my 16 GB LG G Pad.
