Recently installed the latest verizon update which thus far has improved the battery issue related to cell standby

I just recently updated my phone with the Verizon update and thusfar it seems to have significantly reduced the cell standby battery issue.

Thanks for all the help!!!! I disabled several apps that also freed up a significant amount of ram which seems to have stabilized my phone. Not sure if one of the apps was causing the problem or the ram (or lack thereof) but anyway things are working now.

i agree, i initially had a problem but found the problem to be with the usb cable not being firmly seated all the way into the charger.

My phone also shows the same factory data reset date. More interesting considering the phone didn't exist on that date.

I am using chrome and yes it transitions directly to the lock screen.

Anyone know why my verizon s6 edge inexplicably and intermittently returns to a lock screen during browser sessions forcing me to sign back in.

This may be stupid question, but I've tried various ram managers on my s6 edge and they all report total ram as 2.6 instead of 3. Anyone know why???
