It comes down to the pen. If you want/need to take notes, etc with it (I use mine like crazy and send everything to Evernote) then the Note 3 is for you. It's awesome. The pen is the killer feature for me. But if you don't plan to use it, then I'd wait for the S5!

Also a fix out there that requires rooting the phone. Not doing that. Will wait a few days then return the case through Amazon if it comes to that....

Buy one case to fix another. Ouch. They need to sort this out. Hoping that Samsung rethinks this....

I have the Spigen slim armor s-view case. This is an infuriating development.

Today's update disabled s-view and the cover's ability to turn my phone on and off. Using the Speigen s-view case which had worked well before....Anybody else? OK, problem solved. Removed cover, battery, restarted, all is well.
