Actually the Ford Sync technology is through Microsoft and it's pretty darn good. In fact, the newest sync systems in all the fords are the latest technology, I'd venture to say the best in the car biz. My Charge syncs pretty well with my 2009 Escape. Maybe check the sync site or their boards...

For the record, after I replaced the class 2 card with the class 6 card, I can record 720p video and save it to the new card with no problem. Shame on Samsung for cheaping out on us like this...

I believe you can't tether an android device (your galaxy tab) to another android device (your charge) due to the fact that android doesn't recognize ad hoc tethering, at least I know this is true with barnacle, not sure about the other tethering options.

It does come with a 32gb card, but it's class 2. In theory, class 2 cards can't handle 720p video. I've replaced it with a higher class 6 and I'm hoping that will solve the problem I'm having with the above error message.

I tried to record 720p video yesterday and was flashed this error message after about 7 seconds of recording. Anyone have any ideas what the problem is? Is it because Samsung cheaped out and put a class 2 sd card in the phone? Curious if anyone else has run into this...

DO NOT TAKE THE UPDATE UNTIL YOU HAVE DISABLED LAGFIX. Even then, I don't think it'll work (it didn't for me). I disabled the lagfix, downgrgaded to stock rooted ed1, accepted the OTA EE4, then applied jt's root/voodoo kernal, the red version of CWM, then peanut butta. I then flashed the sd...

Noob question, sorry, but do you have to be unrooted to get the EE4 OTA update notification? Or will rooted phones still be notified when it rolls out the their phones?
