I had the purple tint. Also most photos appeared out of focus. After repair photos look GREAT. Focus and clarity of photos are excellent and the tint is completely gone. Note that I was past 12 months since purchase, but just within 15 months from manufacture date. So the repair was covered...

Remarkably, after trying many different date settings, I finally moved it out a month and then the update process started again. Thanks!

Tried updating last night. Left it downloading and went to bed (with auto-sleep disabled). this morning I'm still on 4.1.2 and nothing happens when I hit Check for updates in AT&T Software Update. I don't even get the wait till later message. Changed date on phone but still get no response when...
