Have you tried this? I have a Sony XAV712-HD and I can't get the mirrorlink to work. The last samsung phone known to work with this unit required the samsung drivelink app on the phone. The S6 isn't supported with Drivelink

Pretty much what the title says, I am trying to get my phone to not require the Pattern Lock procedure using Tasker and Secure Settings. Nothing I do within Secure settings is having the desired effect on this procedure. Has anyone actually been successful in accomplishing this? Regards, BillyT

I saw this with my S4. I've had a couple of occasions where the BT connection on the S5 has been shut down (BT got turned off somehow), so I haven't been watching the reception updating as much as just watching to see if the phone is still connected.

Look into the app called Tasker. It will take a bit of learning as it's not the same interface you had on the Droid, but you can do a whole lot more with it.
