I was more than satisfied with my Thunderbolt, although it was a pain to keep charging and swapping batteries all day long. Then, I broke the screen. I upgraded to a DNA shortly after launch and I love the new phone. The screen is spectacular. DNA is thinner and lighter. Jelly Bean is fast...

2x Battery uses a colored circle with the battery percentage in the notification bar. But, 2x Battery does not replace the sideways battery and it is more than a status indicator. If manages tasks to reduce battery use when not on WiFi.

No reboots that I am aware of today with Gingerbread. Had about one a week on the previous version.

My wife got a D3 for the keyboard. But, the laggy response on the back button was a deal killer. So, she swapped it out for a Tbolt and likes it much better.

Try the Power Control widget. It has five buttons for WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, cell radio, and screen brightness.

Picked up a D3 for my wife. (I have a Thunderbolt.) Some of the D3 touchscreen buttons are considerably less responsive than my TB, especially the back and home buttons. She has to tap them several times quite often before they'll respond. Is this common?

The Costco deal requires a limited data plan when upgrading an existing account that has unlimited data. It looks like the only way to keep unlimited data is by upgrading through Verizon.

I got the OTA the first day out and had no reboots until yesterday, when I had three. Pulled the battery and it's been fine the last 24 hours. There was no pattern to the activities prior to the reboots - reading mail, playing a backgammon app, opening an app.
