Hi Russell, That error is not coming from FIV, but probably from the app you're trying to open it in (GMail?). Try opening it from FIV using the built-in file explorer. If in Gmail, ignore the error and select "share" from the context (...) menu, then you'll be able to choose FIV to open it.

I think the battery life is so variable because Samsung installed all sorts of data gobbling apps that run in the background. I disabled a bunch of the pre-installed apps and will investigate this avenue further. If you plug in USB and look at LogCat, you'll see a ton of strange processes...

I'm still holding on to my Nexus 5. Is this the "one" or the Galaxy S6? I'm looking for super fast, good camera, and a bit of future-proof...

This was taken with my Nexus 5 (HDR+ mode) in Vila D'este in Tivoli, Italy. The place is a spectacular garden filled with impressive water fountains, but I looked up and saw this scene that just wanted to be captured :)
