Right under the clock on my Nexus S 4G there is a blue and white icon shaped like a gear that flashes whenever I switch to the homepage. It's really annoying. Can anyone tell me what it is and how to get rid of it?

Yes, none of them did anything to increase the strength of the vibrate on any of the 3 phones, only to change the pattern which didn't help.
