Just curious, what phone is everyone upgrading from any to which pixel?

So is it safe to say gingerbread evo will not get root? I had to make an insurance claim and the phone came preloaded with gingerbread :(

I believe that means the device has overheated, or is damaged from overheating. I remember bringing it to a Sprint store and telling them that, and they said some of the earlier Evos had a problem with the chip overheating and thusly rendering the phone useless. Hopefully, that would be amazing...I've been real disappointed wwith battery life ever since I lost root and was forced to run sense, I could easily get 50% more battery life with cyanogenmod.

If you want root, Nexus S. Its a more recent phone and you can do whatever you want with it. But if that's not what you want, sense is great, and the Evo is a great phone, though a Tad outdated. Have you considered the Photon, or possibly waiting for the Galaxy SII?

I can confirm that you can upload videos from the facebook app now, I have done it. However I'm still not sure on how to tag people in pictures.

If you are rooted try backing up with Titanium, hooking it up to your computer, dragging the backup to desktop. When you get the 3D, just drag the backup onto the SD card of the 3D. Can't confirm if this will for sure work, but seems most logical.

Hey all, I've been looking around but haven't been able to find my cup of tea exactly. I've been looking for a sense based rom that allows me to use HTC apps and widgets, however I want a customizable dock and number of screens, like that off launcherpro. Is there any such thing that exists?

its called htctwitter. its in the rom, i see it. its just when i try to install it it says application not installed. it wont let me install them

So I checked the zip, it has the apps, and when I go to them in Astro and try to install the specific apk, it says application not installed. Anyone know how to fix this?

How can i check what APKs are in the ROM? Maybe I can search through this one and see if its there, or if not search through that one.
