    Life after 6P...whats next?

Came to this from an Samsung N7, wanted a pixel but the wait was too long. I'll probably go with the nexts8/n8 or maybe the G6. I've have an upgrade ready since august, the wait is killing me.

7.1.1 for the Nexus 6P on Verizon

That should be fine, I went from 6.0 to a 7.1 build directly without issue.

Google Pixel - Preorder / order / shipping thread

Not sure what the whole deal is with Verizon but Google is losing sales because of it. I would have bought one after the N7 debacle but with the ship time being unpredictable I am holding out for the next Samsung release. I picked up a used 6P to tide me over in the meantime.

If you haven't gotten it by now you probably won't since it was early December or so. Sideload the update

You shouldn't have to but sideloading the update is fairly straight forward.

I ended up taking the available OTA which was NMF26F and then sideloading to NMF26J. All seems good so far on verizon.

Right now OTA wants to update me to 7.1.1 directly if I check for updates, just not sure which one it is.

Anyone here anything about the verizon 7.1.1 release? I did the enhanced 4G disable but it seemed like I couldn't use data and talk at the same time anymore?

7.1.1 for the Nexus 6P on Verizon

I have the same issue with accessing voicemail but my phone is much more stable in general so I'm staying.
