Good question, how do I tell where the ringtones are stored???

I've been using present AND have also tried ringtones downloaded from Zedge.

Hi...no matter what I do, my S4 keeps reverting back to a default ringtone called "dawn". There is no pattern that I can establish (i.e. when phone is rebooted or turned off, etc.) Anyone have ideas??? thanks!

What do you mean by "uninstalled your sound profile app"? I'm having the same problem; phone keeps going back to a default ringtone and I cannot find a pattern to it. Sometimes it's after rebooting, other times not. Thanks.

I have the same problem. The only way I've been able to fix it is to go into applications and "force stop" messaging then reboot the phone. It then works for a little while, but goes back to vibrate only mode again!!!!! HELP!!! I don't want to restore to factory settings!!
