HiSuite supported the Honor 5X for certain, so it most likely supported other Honor phones

Phonak currently makes hearing aids that work with Android phones, without needing an intermediate device. They work fine with my Moto X4, haven't tested with my G6 Play, but it's also supposed to be compatible.

I have no interest in YouTube Music, didn't use Play Music very much, and I don't ever stream music. I've made sure to download any music I've purchased, and am removing or disabling Play Music wherever I can.

It still shocks me that even low end phones have more storage and power than the first 5 or 6 computers that I've owned.

I think iPhone users are just used to having to recharge their phone at least daily - some that I knew were astounded when I said my Androids could typically go 2 to 3 days between charges.I can adjust to charging more often, if I need to, and don't want anything bigger than around the 5.2...

Right. With hearing aids it's very difficult, if not impossible to use ear buds of any type.

Another reason I'm more inclined towards i-things is that they will supposedly work directly with hearing aids with nothing else needed. I hope my next pair of aids this year can be one of those types. I think it was only in about the last year or so, that one or two hearing aid companies claim...

And this evening, I just got updated to the November patch

I prefer the ease of transferring data and files with android phones, and the fact that you can open or play the same file with several different apps, if you wish.

I got an update with the October patch, a couple of days after the September update.

I had similar issues on a different phone. Turns out I had to go to advanced settings during wifi network setup and select "hidden network", "yes" before the phone would connect. Are your networks hidden?

It was trying to update my phone, and failed - continued to try (and fail) at least 8 or 9 times in a row, before I got disgusted and installed Lineage OS.
