Oh, no, this was bought used. It was bought new two years ago and allegedly hasn't been used much since. I've already ordered a replacement battery just in case since I figured a seldom-used battery would be stagnant, but I wanted to be sure.

So, you're basically saying that the massive drop in battery life whenever I actually use the watch (usually like 3% for 30 seconds of use) or whenever my phone vibrates is uncommon... if I actually use the phone for anything I don't get a day out of it.

How would you define "normal" use? I posted the battery life thread earlier and want to get some sort of consensus.

True... but I just watched my battery drop 5% from vibrating due to an incoming call. So that can't be good.

I just bought a Gen 1 yesterday (because why the hell not), used. I've noticed that whenever I actually USE the watch, the battery drops pretty significantly, like, 3% for 30 seconds. The battery forecast says it'll last for 24 hours operating the way it is now, which is really just for checking...

Holy crap, this is a godsend. I just purchased a used Gen1 and the battery life is CRAP.

So an update: currently tells me I have 37 hours left at 72% with 2 hours SOT. I actually uninstalled the Tumblr and Facebook apps and that seems to have helped, but right now I'm not entirely sure. What constitutes a "broken in" battery?
