Have you figured anything out? When i originally saw your message subject i was going to suggest to del cache, and wipe data; however it appears you've tried to get into recovery and it isn't working... When in your fastboot dir (the dir with fast boot), what happens when you type fastboot...

was this ever solved? i tried to add "emma" as my email address with my email address in the phrase field and emma in shortcut... however in android 4.2.2 on my vzw galaxy nexus, when i type in emma it doesn't auto expand... It suprises me that an OS Such as android doesn't make this better and...

just throwing something out there;;; but by chance are you on a vzw shared plan? if so then the shared data plan includes the ability to tether to the best of my knowledge! within the terms of the Priceplan.
