Yes Rick, this shows the X play lacks the sensors, so will be unable to show notifications with wave of the hand. But as said, can live with that given the battery improvements.

My only disappointment with the X Play is the lack of sensors that make my Moto X 2014 so useful when waving my hand over the phone for notifications etc....however, the battery life will more than make up for this absence.

My understanding is that the phone would be released to all eligible markets mid-August, including Brazil. I would keep an eye on the Motorola Brazil Facebook page and Moto website...
While I understand the interest in this phone coming to verizon, what can't escape me is the lack of 64 bit processor in this phone. This appears to be the last of Samsung flagships to be limited to 32 bit - this would indicte to me that this phone will be old well before its time. Shame!
