I thought that too, but after looking into it further I have read that some people have been affected using third party apps as well. I read Handscent was one of them, but have not heard about GO, which is why I am asking about this particular app.

Has anyone experienced the the infamous "SMS bug" (text sent to random people on your contact list, instead of intended recipient) on GO SMS? I have been using Chomp, but it has been giving me problems so I'm looking for a replacement.

I consider this a huge deal. I know Android Central touched on this bug, but I saw nothing at all on it at my other favorite site-Android Life . I really can't believe Android/Google has let it go this far.
