On previous phones I've owned, some unlocking options (pattern, for example) were no longer available options after encrypting the data. First device I've owned with fingerprint unlock; can anyone tell me whether or not encryption will disable the option?

I disabled the LG weather service & related apk's using the debloater tool some time back without issue on my VZW device. Still using stock launcher, & NOAA Weather as my weather app/widget. The debloater is a fantastic little program. And any VZW device is a target-rich environment for it!
