Well, at Thanksgiving dinner, my Note 3 got soaked. A drink was spilled on it. I wiped it off when I noticed it after a bit of time. It seemed to work fine. I left it on overnight, then in the morning noticed that the screen is not working. I can still hear text messages and e-mails coming in...

The latest Nova Launcher now supports the hot word "Google Now" right from the home screen. I've been looking for the native support of this capability for a while...

Ok, I will go first. Updated my Note 3 to KitKat this morning. I use Google Hangouts as my main messaging app and noticed that all the pretty Google emoticons or emoji previously available on the keyboard are gone. Anyone know how to bring them back?

You could configure a "double tap" on any screen with Nova Launcher and have Google Now come up. I did this for a while, but decided that I like a single press on the Home button better.

I am using a Nova Launcher and I configured a single press on the Home button (when on main screen) to bring up Google Now. Works great.

Well, Kit Kat allows us to add widgets to a lock screen without compromising security. I want to be able to view notifications on a lock screen and I can do this on a Kit Kat device like a Nexus 7. Why is this not possible on a Samsung Note 3?
