Please check your internet connection and try again. Pops up randomly. How can I fix this?

Hmm. That's weird. When I click on the link at the top of the page, it takes me to the app in the Play Store. Maybe because I already have the app on my phone.

    Battery life on AW 2.0

I've always had great battery life with the watch, even after getting 2.0. However, for the last couple weeks, I'm lucky if the battery lasts 12 hours. I went into the Android Wear app and looked at battery usage and it was showing WiFi had the largest usage by far. The graph was showing shallow...

Please check your internet connection and try again. Pops up randomly. How can I fix this?

Here is how I solved it. The gray box that pops up is called a "toast." Go to the App Store and download an app called "Toaster." When you turn it on, it will make a log entry every time a toast pops up. When the offending toast appears, open Toaster and it will tell you which app initiated it...

Please check your internet connection and try again. Pops up randomly. How can I fix this?

Same issue here on a Nexus 6P AND a Nexus 5X on Project Fi. Get the message both on WiFi and cellular. Have not been able to correlate it with any app. Formatting cache has no effect. Will try the SIM card trick.

    Nexus 7 - 2013 - Screen Unresponsive - Issue

Would have to agree with you. I went through 3 2013 tablets, all with the "dead" screen area problem - when not plugged in and sitting on a non-conductive surface, part of the screen (the top third in portrait mode) would not respond to single touches. The online retailer was good enough to...

Poll.... does yours have touchscreen issues with the latest build?

I figured I had nothing to lose so I tried the xda fix. Don't want to be overly optimistic, but it seems to have fixed the dead screen issue! I think I will still exchange my tablet as I paid good money for a new, completely working device, and I don't want to worry about possible issues down...

Poll.... does yours have touchscreen issues with the latest build?

I just called to exchange my Nexus again. The tech I talked to acknowledged that they have had quite a few returns for the same issue and that Google is saying it's a firmware issue. Google may not listen to their customers but let's hope that the vendors who must be getting tired of replacing...

Poll.... does yours have touchscreen issues with the latest build?

Am on my second Nexus 7 with exact same issue. Top 1/3 of the screen on the left side is dead when sitting on a non-conductive surface. Just installed JSS15R with no effect. Looks like I'll be returning this one also. Grrrrr.

JSS15R update rolling out to Nexus 7 2013

Just got JSS15R. I am on my second Nexus 7 because of the unresponsive screen issue and this one has the same problem. When laying on a wood desk, or furniture, the top left of the screen does not respond to touches. Works okay if touching the screen with the other hand or if plugged in. Was...

Poll.... does yours have touchscreen issues with the latest build?

I just updated to the Q build and it definitely does NOT fix these issues. So glad to find this thread as I've been trying to reproduce the dead touch problem but couldn't correlate it with anything. It seemed random, but now I can completely reproduce it. If the tablet is laying on the table...

Have the GPS problems been fixed?

The update fixed the GPS issue on my Nexus 7. I've taken it for a couple drives with no problems. However, I did not have any touchscreen issues before the update, and now I have huge issues! It seems to happen mostly in landscape mode when the whole left side of the screen is practically...
