That was like reading the comment section on a public Facebook post: average age 14 :) I didn't see CarrierIQ as you suggested so I just Force Stopped IntelligenceService and IntelligenceService2. I'm not expecting it to help. Thanks for the reply

I constantly get an error message saying "IntelligenceService2 stopped working" What is it and how do get rid of it? Thanks, Brandon

I'm having the same problem with my S6 edge. Android OS has burned thru 1gb in 20 days. I used to use 1 to 1.5gb all month on my plan. This seems to have started after the Verizon update that now uses WiFi for phone calls. Might be a coincendence

Any particular reason the OS is using a bunch of data? I've never had problems with it until recently. Now it's used a third of my data so far. I'm on wifi 90% of the time and don't run updates over mobile data. S6 edge Android 5.1.1 Posted via the Android Central App

It does that on many phones. Even when the other person isn't using Hangouts. Hangouts sucks because of this annoying glitch. People always complain I'm sending them rotated pics

It's a Hangouts glitch and the only reason I hate the app. Something so basic and Google can't get it right. It did that on my S3 and S6edge. It even happens on iPhones. I send people photos and they're like Why are you sending my sideways pics?! Unbelievable failure by Google. But hey...
