I run Nova and had no trouble with the update, aside from the fact I had to do it twice. First time it rebooted and just sat at the bootloader menu. Maybe it would have finished if I had just let it sit there, who knows. Second time went fine.

Waiting to see what the Note 8 looks like.

Seems to update fine when plugged in to a charger. Anyone else notice that?

I once again uninstalled the Play Store updates using the method above, but was not fast enough to stop it from re-updating. Regardless, it's working now after I uninstalled the updates and let it update again. Maybe they patched the Play Store app today to fix this issue.

That doesn't work - it just re-downloads the Play Store update seconds later, re-breaking it.

Yeah, my phone slowed a bit when I updated, especially fingerprint unlocks seemed laggy, and notifications were sometimes wonky. I did a factory reset and was back up and running 30 seconds later with a snappier phone. Highly recommend it.

I spent a couple hours on the phone with ZTE, doing various resets and flushes, and the problem goes away temporarily and then returns. ZTE says they can't do anything else but offer to replace the phone.
