Locked out of my LG optimus android HELP :(

    1. Turn off the phone entirely. 2. While holding the volume down and home buttons, press and hold the power button. You should see the LG logo, then a screen with some text. 3. Using the volume keys, select something along the lines of "wipe user data" or "format data" (NOT sdcard or system)...

    [ROM][WIP][4.4.2] CyanogenMod 11 KitKat for Optimus S/V

Cool; I'll try that out when I get home. Should SkinBark's CWM work with it or is twrp necessary? I guess I'll find out since I don't feel like switching recoveries first :p Data works and the carrier name/model number are changed, buttons are not swapped. Calling/SMSworks. I can't tell if MMS...

    [ROM][WIP][4.4.2] CyanogenMod 11 KitKat for Optimus S/V

Wait, do you need an S on the os2sd build or regular build to test? I haven't gotten around to backing up and repartitioning my SD card but I could always test the regular build.

I'll see if I can backup my SD card and partition it Sunday. I've got an S.

    [ROM] CM-10.2 4.3 rom + 3.0x kernel

Well, somewhat. It's a bit more sluggish than cm.

This is probably the best Christmas present. It works awesomely!

You actually have a fair amount of storage left (it takes up most of the /system/ partition, but the /data/ partition is still fairly empty). I have 3 pages of apps in my drawer. What int-ext script did you use?

    [ROM] CM-10.2 4.3 rom + 3.0x kernel

Yeah, it swaps the key layout (the home/menu buttons are swapped on the opti v), and it fixes the baseband so it works on VM. In any case, there's one attached to the OP now.

    [ROM] CM-10.2 4.3 rom + 3.0x kernel

The only couple of bugs I've found are: Sometimes the phone is really sluggish on wake. If you're unlucky, when you unlock it when it's sluggish, your phone will get stuck vibrating until it turns off. The double-press button bindings don't always stick. Occasionally, the...

    [ROM] CM-10.2 4.3 rom + 3.0x kernel

You only need to flash the virgin fix if you have the OV. If your phone is an optimus S on an mono like ting, you do not need to flash the virgin fix. ^ http://forums.androidcentral.com/lg-optimus-s-rooting-roms-hacks/334309-rom-cm-10-2-4-3-rom-3-0x-kernel-2.html#post3251792 ;)

Weird; they work for me. Did you flash/install anything else?

    [ROM] CM-10.2 4.3 rom + 3.0x kernel

It did for me. In fact, I wasn't prepared for how well it worked, so I keep it rotation locked now.

What int-ext script do you use? I haven't found one that works yet. Also, did you use gapps that he didn't link to? The link in the OP gives me a 500 error.

As myself and other people have stated numerous times, the gapps in the OP appear to not work for one of several reasons; I'm going without them (for now, at least). I never had a keyboard issue; the stock keyboard worked fine, but it's not exactly stellar. I prefer to use a keyboard with...
