    Note 5 vs iPhone 6s

Re: So there is 0 people here waiting to see what the iPhone 6S Plus will be like before buying Note To each their own, but I prefer Android. I also though the iPhone 6 didn't feel great in hand, and iOS is just too limiting. Also, BS that iOS runs great on such limited RAM, Apple continues to...

I think Samsung is in trouble

I think people are missing the point, Samsung has made buying a high end Android handset easy for people who don't want to to the research. Note 5 will do just fine, Edge maybe not so much. All the pressure Samsung faces is due to Chinese phones and the mid/low end pushing average selling price...

I think Samsung is in trouble

Got about 15 minutes of hands on with Note 5 yesterday. Preface, we were going to BBY to upgarde my wife's S5 to an S6. She spent 5 minutes with Note 5, new S-Pen, etc.. Sold. I am a Nexus fan but the Note 5 is the best feeling (in hand) large phone I've ever touched. This thing is a winner...

Android Auto first impressions thread (and ask us anything!)

Based on the way I see people behaving with phones during my commute every day, I support the way music has been handled. The playlist model works, and even though' you' might be the super responsible person who only browses their music at a complete stop, many other people do not.

    Is it a conspiracy?

Had mine for about 2 months now, love it, primary device in our living room. Great media streamer, playing tons of games (Space Marshals and Titans of Funk currently), really pleased. GRID gaming is good but I'm not getting over invested until I see the 'big announcment' this month. I would not...

Most installers route through the glove box because it's easy and takes no extra effort. Most glove boxes are pretty imperfect and it's easy to route a USB extension out the lid. And really, you can get a GPS signal in your house, but yes, to get the best accuracy (and prevent your phone from...

Android Auto first impressions thread (and ask us anything!)

After a week with the AVH-4001NEX I'm pretty happy. I have a 40ish minute commute and it's been far more tolerable this week with the convenience of Google Traffic data and easy access to entertainment. I had the install done at Best Buy and even though I had some reservations when they dropped...

So do I have to clear the 'warning' screen every time I start the car? I get it Pioneer, don't stare at the screen and drive. Didn't see anything in settings.

I'll snap some pics later, took it for a spin this morning and pretty pleased. My ProClip sits right above the unit so the USB cable dips a little over the upper right hand corner, but I'll find a better solution for that, but for now the cable placement serves it's purpose. Real test will be...

Android Auto first impressions thread (and ask us anything!)

They didn't get finished until later in the evening so I didn't get to play too much. I did the firmware update, phone set up with Nexus 6 was a breeze and I ran through basic function. I had to do some cable routing this morning so I can still use my Pro Clip phone mount. I'll take it out for a...

Nexus 6 on AT&T, so not too worried about that part.

Dropping my 2010 Honda Fit at Best Buy this afternoon for a 4001NEX install, fingers crossed. Fav albums added to Playlist on Google Music, Pocket Casts loaded up, firmware update on SD card, now it's all just waiting.

The state of Android Auto as of early July ...

Yes, if you refuse to use voice commands you wasted a lot of money.

I have the same issue, the YouTube app does not refresh history or playlist in a timely manner.
