Considering G4 to replace iPhone 6. How do they compare in actual use?

While the iPhone is not everyone's cup of tea (especially in theses forums) it has been a while since I have seen such a scathing review of the iPhone 6. You pretty much bashed it on every level. I am not sure you will like the G4 more or not, expectations play a large part of the satisfaction...

note 4 camera beats out others

That test is flawed in many ways. They all have crops next to them which caters to the Note 4 strength in megapixels. That does not make the actual photos better. Just makes them more cropable. Also no motion shots...heavily weighted toward outside bright day shots.....again catering to the Note...

    Note 4 Camera

Yes you can see both. But with 16 mega pixels of course the cropping will look better. That does not mean the uncropped photo is better. Showing the crops just gives some close calls to the Note 4. Also 3 daylight pics of the 5....again pandering to Samsung. If they did 3 of the 5 pictures...

    Note 4 Camera

That test is funny. It picked the Note 4 strength by showing a crop of each picture...which puts the dslr and iphone at a disadvantage...its kind of a sneaky Samsung bias with that test . They should have shown each photo strait up with no cropping.

Note 4 camera and moving objects (i.e. kids)

Really? I have both phones as well. My experience has been Note 4 consistently better then the 6 Plus. You find outdoor photos to be better on the 6Plus? Maybe you have a faulty camera on the Note 4. Other than lowlight motion ( and to be honest they are both about the same in this regard ) the...

Samsung Galaxy Note 4 Has anybody though about making "The switch"?

Re: Has anybody though about making "The switch"? You are saying the level of detail was higher and better than what you could get on the Note4? Posted via the Android Central App

Camera quality is absolutely horrendous. Am I doing something wrong?

Fingerprint scanner iPhone wins. Note 4 camera in most situations is a lot better than the iPhone. Clear, sharp pictures with lots of detail that can be cropped. Lowlight slight nod to iPhone if movement of subjects is involved. If there is no movement they are pretty close in lowlight. Note 4...

Is my Optical Image Stabilization working?? Seems like it's not, terrible pictures

With low light yes.. with proper lighting, however, camera takes sharp photos....even of moving objects Posted via the Android Central App

Camera quality is absolutely horrendous. Am I doing something wrong?

The 6Plus camera is better in low light stills, but the Note 4 is REAL close here. Low light motion the 6Plus pulls ahead by a wider margin. In EVERY other aspect the Note 4 camera is better. Note 4 is better outside, more details in pics, better video, stereo sound on video, you can pull 8mp...

Note 4 camera and moving objects (i.e. kids)

Other than low light motion. ..which all phone cameras struggle....what are all of the Note 4's camera "short comings"? Posted via the Android Central App

Note 4 camera and moving objects (i.e. kids)

The Note 4 has a GREAT camera. Coming from a M7...u will be blown away. Lowlight motion is its weakness . In all other scenarios the camera excels . I think some people are expecting a DSLR when they read the glowing reviews on the Note 4 camera. It is a GREAT phone camrra. Top three least at...

Note 4 camera and moving objects (i.e. kids)

I agree with this scenario (low light motion could be better). But read the thread. Now there are complaints of daytime pictures being "fuzzy" and "not clear". Really?

Note 4 camera and moving objects (i.e. kids)

The Note 4 camera a disappointment? This thread is from the Twilight Zone. I am not arguing anyone's results. Just that most users are having bipolar opposite results. Does not make any sense. Posted via the Android Central App

Note 4 camera and moving objects (i.e. kids)

I agree the iPhone 6plus shot will be great. It's just that outside well lit scenarios are the Note 4's bread and butter. The detail and cropping ability are much better than the 6plus in this type of setting. My second choice would be the 6plus....just not my first choice. Posted via the...

Note 4 camera and moving objects (i.e. kids)

Wow...if your Note 4 cameras photos are not crisp in the daytime there might be something to the "some phones have different camera sensor theories". Outside I have not had a phone camera take better pictures, moving subjects or not. I have used A LOT of smartphone cameras. It is my inner nerd...
